In what might turn out to be the funniest story of the week, the enraged Muslim-fundamentalist website Revolution Muslim-- who recently threatened the lives of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of South Park-- has been hacked by fans of the show. The hacking occurred yesterday, and by the time you're reading this it's probably been taken offline. But thanks to the magic of the "Screencap" button, we've got a nice, big picture of the chaos that South Park fans created when they attacked the site. And now they've responded to the attack, calling Americans "stupid...and pathetic". See it for yourself below, my gentle Examiner readers...
For the last few days, the biggest entertainment news story on the internet has been the "Muhammad Situation" that unfolded on South Park on Wednesday. The long and short of it is, the show mocked Muhammad (or, rather, had him appear in a giant bear suit), a Muslim fundamentalist site threatened to kill the show's creators, and-- finally-- Comedy Central edited the most recent episode of South Park out of concern for Trey Parker and Matt Stone's safety. As you can imagine, South Park fans had some issues with this. So, they hacked Revolution Muslim's website to look like this:
The site was hacked late afternoon/early evening yesterday with this picture, which appeared on every part of the site. The story behind the picture is, of course, unknown at this point, but one gathers that the guys running Revolution Muslim aren't going to be thrilled with the sight of...well, that. Whatever "that" is. Even though South Park fans are still steaming about Comedy Central's decision to censor Stone and Parker's 201st episode (which, by the way, was awesome despite the unnecessary edits), it would appear that they've found a way to feel better about the whole thing. Suck it, Revolution Muslim.
